I only watch CTV for Carol Anne Meehan. Bring her back or I will go to CBC. She is the heart of CTV. She is a great anchor woman and a great role model.

I just found out that Carol Ann was laid off. Shame on you Bell Media. We have been watching that news station for 30 years now because of Max, Carol Ann and JJ. You should be ashamed to let go of someone as dedicated to you and the Ottawa community.

Hire back Carole Anne. She is a local media anchor, not like Her co-anchor, who is not from the Ottawa area. He makes a lot of mistakes reading the news. Ottawa loves Carol Anne. You should have made smarter choices.

Congratulations CTV Bell Media on diminishing your presence in this community. Carol Anne was one of your best ambassadors. Your decision to terminate her employment was ill-advised and short-sighted. Please reconsider.

A sad day for all. It will be like a "death" of sorts in my family. I want to hear the "horrible" news that is delivered everyday by someone that has experienced life. Experience trumps and will outsell youth. I hope that the new wave of "aging" out employees is absent in this situation. The chair will always remain empty.

So sad to hear of this unfortunate news, but hopefully the appropriate decision will be made to bring Carol Anne back where she rightfully belongs! Ottawa loves you Carol Anne Meehan and won't give up until you are back on our tv screens and in our homes every weekday evening at 6pm where you have been for the past 27 years of our lives!

Carol Anne Meehan is more than a news anchor, she is an ambassador for the city of Ottawa. She epitomizes the best of of what a caring, committed and involved media representative should be.

Carol Ann Meehan should be reinstated, since she is the anchor for the CTV news.
Carolyn Waldo should be reinstated too.
