Carol Ann is one of the best news anchors in the country. I can't imagine watching or listening to CTV evening news without her.

Carol Anne has been the face of Ottawa and area on CTV news for many years. She is a dedicated professional who truly cares for the people of the Valley witness her many contributions to the various charitable organizations. Carolyn Waldo also has been a major asset for CTV I have always admired her take on sports here in the Ottawa Valley and beyond. Shame on the Bell Media Executives for their disgusting treatment of two loyal caring people.

Carol Anne is at the heart of this community. Many have drawn inspiration from her and many have invested their trust in her. Over the years CJOH/CTV has reaped many millions of dollars from this community through this newscast. And that was based on the trust that the station built with residents. That trust is embodied in Carol Anne and it is a level of trust that should not be so easily discarded. If Bell Media wants residents to be in this with them for the long haul, it has to respect that trust is a two way street.

Our household is contemplating switching to a different news provider as of this poor decision, we've enjoyed Carol Anne Meehan for years delivering the good the bad and the ugly to our livingroom and are dismayed at such poor judgement in her dismissal.
Who's next..jj..time to switch to cbc
