Why not get rid of the overbearing Richardson and put Meehan in charge of the news - at least you wold then have someone who knows this area.

So what relationship does Graham Richardson have with the Bell Media giants that only after being there 5 years he gets to stay??? Carol Ann, if they make the smart move and bring you back, make sure to ask for more money...you certainly deserve it!! In the meantime, do not forget that when one door closes another open. Imagine the kind of pull you would have for any non-profit organization/foundation with your popularity in Ottawa. I’m sure that any of them will be happy to snap you up. Good luck!!! As for me, I’ll now be welcoming CBC in my home.

Carol Anne Meehan is a much loved community member who is also one of the nicest people i have ever met. I am outraged that she has been let go after so many years of dedicated service.

Disgusting!..not only is she a role model and icon in the media..and community..she has two fairly young children and left as a widow..to support
them solely!!

The news room seemed empty with out her presence last evening watching the CTV 6 o'clock news. It is absolutely disheartening to just ditch someone who has been a dedicated, loyal member of the news team and a prominent figure in our region. Wow, that's the thanks she gets? Never even let her sign off to all her dedicated viewers. Such a shame!
