I suggest cbc Ottawa hires Carol Anne Meehan. Then, they will get a real audience!

This layoff may save some money at the present but will loose money in the long run! Why remove a person who has given the community care and support. She represents Bell Media and CTV in a professional manner with LOTS of dedication. Please return her to our 6pm News show

I am extremely disappointed ctv chose to keep Richardson and dismiss Carole Anne. She is a much better anchor than him and was there a lot longer. Ctv has lost me as a viewer of news.

Very poor way of getting rid of Carol Anne. It was like they waited for Max to die, then turf her to the curb.

Whoever made this decision was likely in Toronto and had no clue what the impact would be locally. Huge mistake!

I cannot believe there are not other cuts they could have made rather than Carol Anne. They have to realize how valuable she is to this community. She is the cornerstone on CTV news. I can no longer watch this station after such actions.

Shocking how CTV would ever consider such a diabolical decision as to have dismissed Carol Anne Meehan. My family consider Carol Anne one of your most respected leading journalist, please reconsider your decision.. If not my family will discontinue our business with Bell Media !!
