I was in shock and so disappointed when I heard that Carole-Ann was laid off. She has worked so many years with Max Keeping to raise money for the sick and vulnerable for our community. I grew up watching her since I was a young child and always loved her delivery of the news with her warm presentation. I am sure she feels so hurt and will most likely not accept her job back if offered but something needs to be done to rectify this terrible decision.

Very poor and inconsiderate decision. Carol Anne is one of those few people who we all tune to for our news. She delivers on a calm and controlled manner, unlike many other news anchors, especially those on the USA who yell it at you. Please reconsider before you lose many of your viewers, including me and all my family

Carol Anne was always the face of empathy and warmth when delivering the news. She deserves better treatment. She deserves to be reinstated.

Bell media is an extremely EXTREMELY cheap company. I have a few friends who used to work for them in the past. Very awful company to work for. I love Carol Ann but I hope she finds a better company to work for!

Even though my wife and I moved to the GTA Region a couple of years ago, we always watch the 6:00pm news to be kept informed of what was going on. This comes as a shock. That would have been like removing Max when he was doing the news. Shame on you CTV. (I guess the shareholders don't have enough money in their pockets).

She is part of our TV history, to take her away may also be loosing the audience. I am Peter Clarke' first cousin, he was CJOH TV evening news producer with J.J. Clarke. She does a great job!! The public is demanding she be kept, Bell should listen to the People!!! and realign services not necessarily cut them.
