We are very sad not being able to see Carol Anne on the CTV News any longer.. Our evening tradition has come to end. Let's hope she will get her job back!

As a regular viewer of CTV News I am shocked and saddened by this decision. CTV News just lost it's personality and heart. Bring her back!

I couldn't sleep as easily last night because of the very disturbing news of Carolanne Meehan's abrupt dismissal from her news anchor job! I guess $138,000,000 is not enough profit for one year. She is the epitome of someone good and wholesome. How can Bell Media be a leading news system without people like her? Bell Media has lost their morals and their moves for more power, control and money-making ideas disintegrates our society. I'll not be watching Ctv Ottawa as of now unless she is rehired. The way you let her go was inhuman.

I urge Bell Media to re-instate Carol Anne Meehan as she brought a personal touch to the News desk. As did Max Keeping whom I believe would be disgusted by this injustice. My wife loved Carol Anne and she brought a woman's touch to the News desk. She was an icon to all women watching who dreamed of becoming a News Anchor, that anything is possible if you work hard.

Yes Yes Yes - Give Carol Anne Meehan her job back. She does a very good job and deserves to keep it. She will be sorrily missed if you follow through with taking her job away.

Please allow a true local icon who posesess all traits we try to give our children, the right to a position she truly deserves and earned. We can trust her and she is a professional.
Thank you
