I will no longer watch news unless Carol Meehan is back at her job !

Like really you laid her off. Can't believe this. Since I moved to Ottawa watched ctv news for 26 years and Max and Carol Anne were the reason. Never really liked CBC.this is just unbelievable...

Bell media made a big mistake letting go Carol Anne Mehan. Bring her back ... Show some good business sense.

My family has invited Carol Anne into our home since she became co-anchor with Max Keeping. She is part of our family and always will be. Carol Anne is very professional and yet so transparent. She shows us her vulnerability, her compassion for human kind and makes us all feel laughter and sometimes sadness at the same time. Her presence at CTV Ottawa IS making CTV News what it is and should be. Carol Anne, I am so very sorry for the inhumane way that you were treated. We love you very much. Please, BM, bring back Carol Anne to CTV Ottawa.

When we lived in Ottawa several years ago, my wife and I always watched Max and Carol Anne on CJOH. Carol Anne was always interesting and informative and fun to watch. All the best for the future and hope that this petition bears fruit.

This is incredible and it shows the heartlessness and disloyalty of her employer. She did not deserve to be treated in such a disgusting manner.

I cannot believe Carol Anne was not given her chance to say farewell after all these years. Not only have you totally mistreated her but you show a total disdain for your listeners. It is almost the same as when a Russian dictator would be deposed in communist Russia - all of a sudden his picture would be gone and his name never voiced again. The CBC is beginning to look better everyday now that I hear about the change in news at CFRA as well. Good Luck Caor Anne -you are probably happier away from Bell Media the way things are going.

Carol Anne's treatment by Bell Media was ABOMINABLE !!!! The almighty dollar always wins! I can't stand watching the 6:00 news without her !!!! And I haven't since this happened … perhaps the aim is to lose viewers ??????
