Support CTV Ottawa News Anchor Carol Anne Meehan

Very bad decision she should be the one to stay, she has knowledge of things going on in Ottawa, experience and personality and compassion.

I hope your ratings drop because of this stupid move Bell Media. I will never watch the 6:00 news until Carol-Anne is back. Hopefully more people will do the same.

This is so wrong. I watched the news because of theses people. I now choose to get my news from another source other than Bell Media!

I can't believe they did this to Carol Anne. Everyone loves her. Was this cut to prevent her from collecting a full pension? I think it's disgusting.

If they were going to let anyone go it should have been Graham Richardson. The man is arrogant, rude and full of himself. I am sure Max is totally disgusted.

Carol Anne speaks in such a way that others love to listen to her and listens in such a way that others love to speak to her!!! Viewers are inspired by the contagiousness of her success. Another chapter will begin for Carol Anne if Bell Media is foolish enough to lose her.

I have been watching Ms. Meehan present the news on CTV since I moved to Ottawa in the 90s. She always struck me as sincere, trustworthy, involved with the community and approachable - qualities I do not always see in news anchors, including some of her colleagues, who have survived the layoff. The loss of Max Keeping from our community, and now her departure from CTV feels like a big loss.

It's just terrible the way Carol Anne is being treated. She's done so much community work on behalf of that station that it's unbelievable that they should just lay her off without any notice or compassion. I think you will lose a lot of viewers that were always faithfully watching every night! Reverse your decision, please!
