I've been watching Carol Anne for most of my adult life. She is the main reason I watch CTV Ottawa. Please bring her back!

I couldn't believe that news and was very sad. Carol Anne just know you were loved and respected and will be missed. Will go to CBC if you do. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Bell Media - give yourselves a shake...greedy sods - Stop chipping away at what set CTV (CJOH) apart from the rest!!! Get rid of Richardson...Carol Anne exudes journalistic class - shame on you...I'll cut all of my services with you low class dumbasses...tried this before with Regional Contact...check out the results!!!!

Until/unless Carol Anne Meehan is reinstated at CTV Ottawa, I am turning OFF the CTV Ottawa newscasts and switching to other local news programming. Same for anything else Bell Media-related.

Shocked to hear that Carol Anne was laid off... she has been with CTV for ever why not layoff someone who has only been with CTV for a short time.

Carol Anne has been an institution in CTV/CJOH - she has been the face of Ottawa, and given so much to Ottawa and our greater community throughout Eastern Ontario. Thanks to the organizers - sent emails to CTV, Citizen and to the senior management at Bell Media, great to be able to add my name to this petition.

Shabby and shoddy way to treat a long time popular co-anchor of CTV Ottawa. She along with Max has long been the public face of CTV Ottawa. I want her back, she puts the human face on the CTV evening news.

She is more than just a T.V. anchor. She is a pillar of our Ottawa community. Profits aren't everything! You have just angered many viewers who may ultimately change stations.

Bad move on the part of Bell Media. Carol Anne IS CTV local news in Ottawa. From now on it is CBC in my house.

I can't believe that a company can be this heartless to a long time employee and one that has recently experienced such personal tragedy. If this was to improve profitability...guess your market shares will drop as you have just lost a house of 3 which have watched CTV news for over 30 years...sure we won't be the only ones!
