She's the best anchor there. She deserves her job because of that. She has a long history with the community. She deserves her job because of that. Bring her back, please!

Who has the right to tear apart our family. Ottawa citizens are deeply bonded to our local media personal. How many people have gotten off their rear ends to get out and volunteer because of the example set by Carol Ann ( and Max) for more than a quarter of a decade. The removal of Carol Ann from her job as news anchor and community ambassador is not only a slap in the face, not only to Carol Ann, but to thousands of Ottawa citizens. I am livid.

I guess employers nowadays don't care about the loyalty of their employees only about money. Carol Ann has contributed so much to this community and the listeners really enjoy watching the news on CTV. Think I will switch from now on. Who's next on the block?????. This is an insult to the broadcasting community.

Carol Anne has always been a friendly, supportive community partner, in addition to being a long-time co-anchor of the news watched regularly by so many of us. Please give her back her job and make us, the viewers, happy again . her

A community volunteer such as Ms Meehan should never be layed off unless their on air capabilities were below par.
And in Carol Anne's case it is the opposite. She is such an effective news anchor and communicator. She easily has another 20 years left in her to bring us the news effectively and with a smile (and pretty too!).
My suggestion is replace her as a selected candidate for layoff with one of the MANY high salaried BELL executives who do a LOT LESS for the community.

Hoping CBC graps Carol Anne Meehan quickly. As we will all follow her. Many are accusing the wrong persons....her co anchor is not as innocent as he appears.... How can Graham do such a rotten job and he gets to stay? Think about it!!

I am thoroughly disappointed and saddened by their decision to let Carol Anne Meehan go. She is one of the primary reasons I watch the news! Will have to rethink my support of any/all Bell products/services.

it is unbelievable to see such an anchor to our city to be dismissed through bureaucratic hypocrisy. like other companies start with the last one in and work your way up.
