She was witness to Brian Smith's murder, lived through the illness and suicide of her husband, and then the illness and subsequent death of her long time colleague and friend Max Keeping and this is what she gets? SHAME on Bell Media. I will avoid anything having to do with their brand until they start doing business differently.

Absolutely and Utterly rediculous! We all know it is NO surprise Bell likes to makes things up as they go along, without any rational thought.....But this time you've gone TOO FAR! I have stopped watching CTV ALL together, and will never go back, and i WILL encourage all my friends and colleagues to follow suit, as they will agree....you have gone TOO FAR!! The likes of Caro-Anne Meehan, and Carolyn Waldo, are the ONLY reason you HAVE a SPOT for a show.

I am not 100% sure she should go back to the people that so callously let her go however I would like her to have the option. I can't imagine the news without her so for my own selfish reasons i want her back!

I really think that the decision to fire Carol Ann and Carolyn are not well to out. They are the pinacle of the Ottawa/Gatineau 6:00 pm news and I completely agree with the petition movement.

Shame on Bell Media. Both Carol Anne and Caroline have been a pillar for women all these years. Why is it that every time there is a scale back, women are targeted? If it is for saving of $$, then why is J.J. still around. He has been doing the weather for many years.
Bring them both back and whoever made the decisions for their firing, should fire themselves. Will no longer be watching CTV News...CBC here I come.

Rather than getting rid of someone as professional CarolAnn, think about cutting the dumb ones like Megan Shaw! She doesn't sound like she has a brain in her head.
