I am 39 ys old, and it was weird when we lost Max Keeping on the news, but now... Carol Ann Meehan - - We can't have news without her. She is incredible... I will stop watching CJOH/CTV!!!

CTV News should not let go the only Ottawa anchor that has a proven connection to the community. She appeals to the demographic that represents a majority of your viewers, and some how has the ability to interest all . I will no longer turn to CTV for my daily news update.

Carole Anne Meehan is an integral part of Ottawa families who watch her every night and trust her to deliver the news that affect us in an honest and personal manner. Find another way to make cuts, but not at the expense of a longtime valuable anchor.

Let us enjoy a trusted member of our community to do her job. It was bad enough when Max retired but now we lose Carol Anne as well. I think there needs to be some deep reflection as this can not be helpful to ratings

Ratings do not just happen by themselves. The on-air team at CTV Ottawa was and is responsible for the #1 rating that CTV Ottawa has enjoyed for years. Carole Ann was key in getting those high ratings. What was CTV Brass thinking?! But will all the petitions and support do anything to change their minds. Hope so, but not expecting much

What were the 'wheels' at Bell thinking...Carol Anne was someone we enjoyed every evening on the news...not sure we will bother to tune in to Graham!!!

Way to go again CTV/Bell Media... If there's anything you're showing more success at is "blowing it" with ridiculous decisions... Not enough you've made many audio/video show to be very amateur, but now to ax all those who viewers actually stick around for???

Bell Media has demonstrated a total lack of grace and consideration for the sensitivity of the community that Carol Anne Meehan has served all these years.. You appear to have underestimated her place in the hearts of her viewing audience.
