I was shocked when I heard the news about Carol Ann's layoff. The news will no longer be the same without her. I think Bell media should rethink their decision.

The small savings that Bell made by laying her off will quickly be negated by the reduction in viewership as a result. Terrible move Bell!

Have always enjoyed Carol Anne's approach to delivering the news. Shame on CTV and Bell Media for declaring her expendable. I personally will boycott CTV News until this is overturned.

maybe its time for bell cleaned out some of there offices starting at the top floor. I,m sure there will be billions saved. to bad greed it its top priority

People are more important than $$ in most cases. Maybe cut the top brass salaries to compensate for keeping Carol Anne if that's what it takes. Sometimes its about the character of the people delivering the news as much as it is the news itself. Those people are a team and family. Carol Anne not being at the desk makes it seem so empty and cold.
