6pm anchors are the ones we turn to daily - they are our stability, we feel safe and trust them. How unprofessional to not provide her and us without any advance notice. Can't help but think that this announcement would not have been done, at least not in this cruel way, had Max been alive !

It came to me as a SHOCK when I heard Carol Anne was being laid off. It seems Bell media management needs an eye opener

Carol Anne is loved and respected and is a strong force in the Ottawa community, that to be treated this way is truly disgraceful and such an insult to her. She and Carolyn Waldo do not deserve such terrible treatment.
