Carol Anne is a warm and friendly face that brings comfort to many... Especially since we lost Max.
We need to treasure these icons.
Plus, she does a great job!!!!

Unbelievable. Bell Media, shame on you. Carole Anne has been a part of this community for many years. You did not even have the decency to send her off with a proper goodbye. She must return as our beloved anchor. This family is now boycotting CTV news at 6. CBC is starting to look pretty good. Bring Carol Anne back where she belongs.

Won't be watching CJOH anymore - there's other channels to get news of our locale. This is ludicrous. After 27 years and you law off a loyal employ??? ? Unbelievable.

I am shocked, angered and deeply saddened to hear that Carol Anne has been laid off. Is this how Bell Media treats beloved, talented and experienced employees? And it is interesting to note that the woman co-anchor was laid off. It makes me wonder about sexist attitudes within Bell Media.

I first Met Carol Anne when I was 13 during the Ice-storm of 98' when she came to my hometown of Merrickville to report on the events. She spent a great deal of time talking off camera with me and I will never forget that. She is the face of MY news and I cannot fathom it without her. Please bring back Carol Anne.

She was the voice of Ottawa. The show will not have the same small town appeal anymore. Too corporate and cold. I guess JJ. Clark is next. Maybe she will get a talk show.

Disgraceful dismissing her. It's absolutely transparent that both ladies dismissed are older. Would a man this age be let go like this? Not a fat chance. Let go of Graham. Carol Ann is a better anchor if she showed up at work drunk than he is on his A game. Then hire Carolyn back while you are at it. Letting a local Olypian go? Give me a break. Find someone else to dismiss.

I am seriously considering not watch CTV news. I would much rather watch Carol Anne the Graham Richardson give him the boot.
