It's just wrong to dispose of people so easily. Carol Anne has been welcomed into the homes in our community for 27 years. She has maintained her professionalism through some very difficult broadcasts and I commend her for that. She does not deserve to be treated with such disregard and neither do the viewers. CBC news will gain a huge following as a result.

This lady was the face of the community. She was for the most part Max Keepings partner in delivering information to the community. Max wouldn't have approved this move. We won't be watching CTV.

She is part of our daily life, listening to her is almost listening to a friend, this idea of cutting positions does not meet our expectations. Maybe we should read our news online and not watching television.

Very sad day when Carol Anne, a talented, compassionate professional who came from the valley, knows the valley & shares her heart with valley viewers is blindsided, pulling the job out from under her. Definitely question Bell Media's loyalty to their staff and viewership.

Such a shame that they would fire Carol Anne and Carolyn Waldo after over 25 years at CTV Ottawa. I grew up watching Carol Anne and Max Keeping every weekday at 6. No disrespect to Graham, but he can never match the connection that Carol Anne has with the City of Ottawa.

Carol Anne was an integral part of CTV Ottawa News At Six. After 27 years she has a lot of experience and deserves to stay . The junior reporters could learn a lot from her. Hopefully she gets a well- deserved chance to come back. The news just is not the same without her.

I can't believe they would do this, Carol Anne is a fantastic anchor, she is intelligent, personable and involved with the community. You an count me as a loyal ctv fan who will switch to another network now that she is no longer there.
