Carol Anne Meehan is a great reporter who cares about her community. I trust her more than any of CTV's other reporters. Why are only the women fired? What about Carolyn Waldo and all the other staff behind the camera? Without notice? Bell media made a profit of 183 million dollars last quarter. How can they possibly say they need to restructure when that is a euphemism for wanting more money. They are greedy.

Carol Anne Meehan is the only reason I have continued to watch CTV news. She is professional and delivers the news with empathy and emotion. In a time when news is available through so many modes the only thing left to differentiate CTV from the pack is having Carol Anne - a person who is a part of her community and who us viewers feel a connection with and trust.

what are they thinking? She needs to stay! Why was she cut because she is a woman? Because she is middle aged? I sincerely hope that this is not the case. She does an excellent job and we love seeing her every night, just not the same with the boys.
