what kind of a company does this to their employees. I have watched CTV for 25 years - I will not support the decision of letting go of Carolyn Meehan - I am done with watching this news channel.

I am disappointed that after so many years of service and dedication to the community, Carol Anne will no longer be an anchor on the 6 o'clock news. No respect. As many others have noted, I too will no longer be a viewer on Channel 7 as it relates to the news.

I will not be watching CTV news at 6 o'clock again because she was the community news person. Graham Richardson can not even read the news correctly. He pauses at the wrong places all the time. How could CTV remove Carol Anne after 27 years when she was so wonderful. She did not deserve this.

Ottawa is losing too many trusted voices in our broadcast community. CTV has hired qualified young people to carry the torch, but have you noticed how many of the women are beautiful blondes or as some will say, 'eye candy'. Don't get me wrong... those young women are good journalists, but where is the diversity?

Already switched to CBC news.. This is certainly not the way to retain viewer loyalty and to treat people who have been a huge part of the community for all these years. What would Max say if he was still with us...... Its not always about the $$ but I guess for Bell Media sadly it is.
