OMG!!!!! I didn't hear of the layoff and was wondering where Carol-Anne was. After checking into it I was shocked to hear that she was let go! I can't believe it. Why?????? I so looked forward to hearing her every night at 6pm. She is a true gem. She's awesome!! She is Ottawa. I can't believe money trumped talent. Bring Carol-Anne back!! Ottawa news is just not the same without her

It is painful to watch Mumble Mouth Graham Richardson on air. He can't even read! He can't read one line on the prompter without fumbling. How could you choose him over C.A.Meehan????????? Unbelievable

It is verry sad to no longer see Carol Ann Meehan on the evening news after she worked there for 27 years. I think she did alot for different organization and charitys. They mad a huge mistake in letting her go and should be ashamed of themselves

Carol Anne has dedicated her life to this community as well as this TV station. She deserves a lot better than the shameful layoff she was the victim of. She needs to be re-instated with retroactive pay, bring her back now.

The ctv news is depleted without Carol Anne. I have stopped watching ctv. I think she deserves to come back to us, and that Bell are cowards dropping her without warning her, or us.

Living in BC and not always getting Ottawa news my support of this petition is belated but heartfelt.l What an incredible loss to the eastern Ontario and Western Quebec public. No doubt we will see her again in another aspect of her career in support of the community she loves.

Carol Anne should never have been let go, She is the heart of the news and there are too many fake and annoying people still working for CJOH Ottawa that would be a wonderful alternative, such as Leane Cusack.
