She is great at her job and should remain at the anchor desk, shame on you ctv. Axe some of those mindless entertainment reporters instead if you wish to save money. Gossip has taken over and real news events and legitamate journalists suffer.

There can be nothing besides loosing a loved one, more crushing than being told you are no longer are emplolyed. It's a wonder they didn't wait until Xmas. Goes to show Bell have no Class ..................

There was a comfortable feeling watching the 6:00 news with Carol Anne Meehan and that comfort has been removed. I guess it is not professional to add a comment to the delivery but you could tell from a gesture or the look on her face that what she was telling you she felt as a person. Laying her off was just being mean to her as well as the rest of us.

Our family would watch the CTV news with Carol Ann Meehan because you knew each story mattered to her. Where is the loyalty? Where is the respect? Our family will switch broadcasts to sent a clear message- listen to your audience, your followers, your supporters by bringing back both of these women.

You would think that a long time employee like Ms Meehan would be treated with more respect and not like a number. They didn't even give her the chance to say goodbye to her viewers. Bad move Bell Media.

Bring back Carol Anne Meehan. Poor Max would be devastated by this news. Why does Bell Media always get rid of the wrong people. Younger and cheaper is not always best. Then you higher the wrong people.
