I have always enjoyed her female input in a male dominated news cast. Shame on you !! I hope she can continue in her chosen career.

I am so upset by this. Ms. Meehan has been a staple for our community. The fact that she didn't even get to say goodbye to the community she has tirelessly served is unacceptable and disrespectful. Please show her some respect and gratefulness for everything she has brought to us over the yars.

i was so upset with her bring let go. I have enjoyed watching her for so many years. There are some people who do so much for the city who have been around and who deserve better treatment than that. Sometimes it's not about money and the bottom line. She is one of those people who screams Ottawa. I am so mad at the powers that be and also the way it was handled was disgusting.

You are making a big mistake in letting Carole Anne go! She made the 6 o'clock news less mechanical and it was like having a friend on TV. She had a true human touch on set! Please bring her back!!!!!

CTV Ottawa/Bell has let go the person with the most connection to Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley on their newscast. Carol Anne is a native of Pembroke. She does a great job. Shame on CTV for axing Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo! Your newscast is getting pretty sad and thin!

What a shame that Carol Anne was ket go and in the manner that it was done. I watched the news tonight and not a word mentioned. What a way to treat a very good employee and such a good person. I watch the news every night and always enjoyed her - very warm and very professional at the same time. She was thrown out like a bag of trash - shameful.

I will be discontinuin my bell services unless Carolyn is reinstated. This was unacceptable...not even the decency to allow her to say goodbye to her friends who seen her every night for years!
