I am disgusted by Tuesday's layoffs. Bring back Carole Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo; they are the faces of the evening news. Bring back Rick Gibbons, John Brenner, Sean Connolly and Shelley McLean. I have no reason to listen to CFRA without them.

Bring her back! She has been a staple in the community for as long as I can remember over the last 25 years. She was the best conanchor that Max Keeping could have had and kept ottawans abreast of all news stories after his retirement. CTV and Bell Media should have more comb sense than to let her go. The younger reporters and anchors on there now have non personality.

I am in my last year of high school, and Carol Anne has inspired me for years to pursue my dream of becoming a journalist. I want Carol Anne to still be there, behind the counter at CTV Ottawa so she can continue inspiring me.

I am really upset that Carol Ann was laid off yesterday. She has been part of the CJOH team for too long to be dumped like this. Shame on Bell Media.
Also, Carolyn Waldo was a real asset to the Sports news. Very professional and full of life.
