This is a very unfortunate decision by CTV which should be reconsidered. Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo should both be reinstated.

Shame on Bell Media. Carol Ann was the reason we watched the evening news. Her warm personality came through each and every newscast. How very refreshing in an age of plastic barbiedoll like news presenters. Where is the sense of loyalty in today's cut throat news business. She did a wonderful job delivering the news, and is an inspiration to the Ottawa community for all her outstanding charity work. It was so nice to see the genuine comeradery between all members of the news team. To remove her without even allowing her an opportunity to say goodbye in a dignified manner is truly unconsciable!
All the best to Carol Ann. You will be sorely missed.
