This is a very bad move on the part of Bell Media.. Carol Anne is a classy who has dedicated her life being a role model in all that she does. It is time for Bell Media to take a look at what they are losing.

It used to be that CJOH was a family and the community felt part of it!!

Grew up watching her and Max every night from Williamstown Ontario. Still tune in when I'm visiting family back home. Sad news and poor timing after the recent passing of Max. Disappointed in CTV/Bell Globe Media

I have been a loyal viewer of CTV Ottawa News at 6:00 and the former CJOH for the last 30+ years. The main reason I watched this broadcast was to listen to the late Max Keeping,Carol Anne Meehan and JJ Clark. I was totally shocked and outraged to learn of Carol Anne Meehan firing. She has been part of our family for 27 years. She is an icon in Ottawa and surrounding area for her professionalism and community work. I was watching the news when this horrible news was announced and I immediately changed to CBC Ottawa News at 6:00 and I sent a protesting email to CTV Ottawa. I will now boycott CTV Ottawa News as a result of the unjust firing of Carol Anne and will continue to watch CBC News. Bring her back! She is adored and highly respected and CTV Ottawa will lose many viewers over this shortsighted and bad decision.
