Disgraceful way to treat a long time staff member and Ottawa colleague. It should not always be about the bottom line when you make these decisions- Ottawa wants her back. If Max was alive he would be totally disgusted with CTV news. WE have laughed with her, cried with her and now we are rallying to support her...
We wont be watching CTV news any longer and going forward will not support any Bell products!

Carol Anne was the reason we watched the evening news. She brings a humanity to all she does. In these troubled times it is her face and voice we need to center and unite our community, with compassion. Without Carol Ann we won't be tuning in.

Carol Anne I really miss you. This is an awful way to treat a kind faithful employee. I am not sure she would want to return to this cold, heartless company who only made 183 million dollars last year.

I am 26 and remember her reporting the news all my life. Even more reason to boycotton bell all together. Refuse to sign up with their services or give them any money... crooked company with their ceos so high up they can't see through the clouds

Without Carol Anne, the 6:00 news will not be on our TV. She was excellent and her community knowledge just made you feel her passion for Ottawa. Shame on you for letting the bottom line get in the way of a great newscast .
