This day and age people are losing jobs right and left. But to walk in and fire someone that has given so much to a community shows a terrible lack of respect. Shame on you bell try looking in the mirror tonight and see if you like whats looking back at you!

Bring back Carol Anne Meahan-she made the news real and human, not afraid to show her emotions when the story warranted it. She was a long time resident who added local flavour to our day. After the loss of Max, we need to keep our sense of connection strong. Graham is not even close to her quality-way too many mistakes!

Such a part of our Ottawa community. So surprised to hear Bell Media had been laid off. Obviously decided by people unaware of her influence on the community and ties to the community.

Not impressed with decision to let her go. Evening news looks like a boys club now, all men. She has been with the news program for many years and has become a mainstay and familiar face in Ottawa. It's sad that her departure was so abrupt too!

I couldn't believe it when I heard she'd been laid off and so abrutly. She was such a professional. I've been watching her newscast since the late 90s when I used to come visit my sister before I even moved her. She was wonderful, this just doesn't make sense.
