Absolutely awful that Carol Anne was treated this way. She was our favorite anchor; way better than the boob men sitting at the same desk. In this day and age the old boy's club remains at the sacrifice of strong and wonderful women like Carol Anne. BOOOOO to Bell Media!!! Never liked Bell before - HATE them now. Best of luck to you Carol Anne. Has been a pleasure having you join our family for all these years and will sincerely miss you.

Quite shocked at the handling of this by Bell Media and CTV. She was the main reason I watched CTV news at 600pm. Re-hire her immediately, listen to your viewers.

I've been watching her since I was in pull ups! I'll miss her so much and I'm surprised at how it hit me, so I am showing my support and I hope our pleas will bring this good woman back on our teles. Carol Anne, if you're reading this, we LOVE you and wish nothing but the best for you and your kids.

Shes been there for a long time shes one of the kindest people who care about the community and actually gets involved she's great at her job and that shouldnt be taken away from her

Carol Anne has been our go to reporter for years. She is a warm and caring person who deserves better treatment for her years of hard work, volunteerism and dedication to her job. Shame on Bell Media! I will turn to another source for my home news if she is not reinstated.

A very valuable employee who represented Bell Media in the community for a lot of years. She was part of the CTV brand in Ottawa and Bell Media Canada put her in a blue box with a total lack of respect.

Bell Media, please reconsider laying off Carol Anne Meehan! She is an intergral member of CTV's Ottawa (and eastern Ontario's) broadcast team. Her absence will diminish us all.
