The news will not be same without her. I have always loved watching the news with her. She has had her share of problems, and I do not think she should lose her job. I hope that they get her back.

Shame on Bell Media
I have watched the CTV evening news for years and was always impressed with the professionalism and caring for community that Max Keeping and Carol Anne Meehan showed in their reporting. Max had no choice but to retire because of his health, but for Carol Anne to be fired for the sake of money is inexcusable.
If they are making cuts I suggest getting rid of the fat cats at the top who make millions, hire creative people who have are productive & have a vision of other ways to make a profit and leave the professional, dedicated, loyal, community minded employees alone.
I will now be watching the CBC evening news as so many other people will be doing.

The news will not be the same without Carol Anne. My husband, Tom, and myself always looked forward to having Carol Anne in our home at dinner time and will be following the news on CBC until her return.

I really think that by laying off Carol Anne Meehan there will be a backlash to CTV I will no longer watch the CTV 6 o'clock news. I really think that laying off long term employees you are saving money which will backlash on you.
