I think this skatepark would be a huge addition to this community as there is not much to do for younger people in the area

Let's do this. I think this would be a very important investment being a rider myself.

This skate park is an essential investment in talented youngsters, and a prime opportunity to provide disaffected and otherwise bored kids with a new sport to learn.

The area is developing rapidly and with that you'll have a growing number of young people with nothing to do and no where to go. I understand not everyone would benefit from this, but at least giving people the choice is the first step to a healthier and safer area. If you give young adults the choice to spend time at a Skate park or on the streets... the park will win most of the time. It's a social, and more importantly, safe place for the younger generation to be. Somewhere they can go which belongs to them. With this in place you give community support offices the opportunity to engage with people in the area and help deter vulnerable people from more sinister places to hangout, or if you'd rather, more sinister people from the places vulnerable people hang out, which is priceless to worried parents everywhere in this day and age. Please seriously consider this request. You can also look at the success Denmead Skatepark had on the area. It looked after me when I was growing up and Im grateful that people worked hard to give us that safe space all those years ago. So I'm signing to try give that feeling back. All the best!

There is a huge demand for a skatepark in Waterlooville! The nearest ones are Denmead & Clanfield & too far away.

As a resident of Waterlooville, I would describe why this potential development will not only benefit the youths of waterlooville, but for the extended community as a whole. Over the years I have noticed a great influx in the amount of skaters and scooters in the town shopping area. As a resident this raises great concern for me as I feel that the council has not paid attention to these growing numbers. Not only would a skatepark reduce loitering in this area, but as a matter of public safety it would also ensure that visitors and residents will be able to visit and shop in the town centre without the risk of being injured by skaters using the town for street skating. I strongly feel that a skatepark would be suitable for a town such as this size, as a designated place for youths to congregate without having an adverse impact on the community.

I've been wanting a skatepark since I was younger as I've grown up around here, no use to me now but a great investment for youth and to keep them interested in a hobby and busy from the streets

I feel like that were just waiting for waterlooville to have a skate park but we need something to push it to be built. Especially with the recent developments that's going to be happening with the new McDonald's, cinema and other things being built. It does not have to look like the most modern, advanced thing but even just a few ramps would be massively appreciated by the many and make us feel like our voices are heard. Please consider
