The town council just confirmed the funding for our skatepark. All those years my friends and I spent waiting are finally turning into actual concrete. I am overwhelmed thinking about what we built together.

Seeing this much support for a local skatepark feels surreal because I remember how often my friends and I were told to just wait our turn. This momentum proves that our town is finally ready to give us the space we need to skate safely.

This would be awesome. A lot of kids skateboard and it will make it safer for these kids rather them skating down the road and almost getting hit !
We need a skatepark in waterboro, some of my friends skate and it would be awesome to have one. A good place to put it is at friendship park
Waterboro really needs a skate park for my friends that live in that area and can't get a ride to Sanford or any other skatepark
I think a skate park would be a great addition for the Lake Arrowhead District.
Tryed doin this when I was a kid I walked door too door good luck guys the old tenis courts in lake arrowhead wood be perfect
I really want one!

ive been wanting a skate park in waterboro for YEARS instead of having to drive all the way to Sanford.
