One of the many needs we have in Vista Palms is a place for our dogs to run off leash. This is a petition simply to give the CDD board an idea of the number of households that would support/request/use the park so they understand the need and can start the process.

The issues with restless dogs getting loose makes a need for a dog park pretty much something to consider. It will get the energy out, get neighbors to meet each other more often and then the dogs can be more content at home
Other communities had a Dog Park why this one don’t! And this maybe help with less incidents with dogs
We were told a dog park was going to be built near the clubhouse before buying our home. This would be wonderful to have a local place to let our dogs run. Thank you.
Our community has a large number of 4-legged residents and it is imperative to have a place of recreation for them.
we dont have any dogs but we do have small children and worry about their safety with dogs roaming the neighborhood. think a park for them would help with this issue.

Unfortunately Lennar lied to you. The dog park was set to be on Babbling Brooke in phase 2 but was scrapped when sales slowed down a couple years back. This is more of a survey than a petition... my bad on the choice of phrase. The CDD board would have to agree to donate the land for it.

As a dog owner myself and having encountered numerous problems such as home owners approaching me while walking my dog demanding I make sure my dog is not using the grassy area on the right side from the sidewalk bordering their property. Also my dog was attacked by a big pit bull while we were walking and the pit bull was loose on the street plus other instances when other dogs unattended and unrestrained have charged my dog. I have always employed proper dog etiquette picking up after and always walking on a leash. I strongly believe a dog park will eliminate or reduce this issues.
