If masks and social distancing work then explain why Finland with a 60 total lockdown last spring had no numerically different case rate among 600,000 school children than Sweden with over 1,400,000 school children

Please give our children the choice to wear a mask!

MISD needs to worry about educating our children instead of playing big government. Our high taxes pay their high salaries and I expect a good ROI.

I'm a student & masking my face makes my asthma act up. I need to be able to exhale & inhale fully the way God intended for me to breath. It's also very difficult for me to understand my teachers when they are masked. I also miss seeing smiles!

We need to get back to normal.

Please make masks optional in McKinney ISD. We have been masked for a year, and masks were never effective in “slowing the spread” as evidenced by spikes in cases throughout national mask mandates. My 3 children have performed and played sports (maskless) throughout this pandemic, through both school and club teams. I am an SLP who has worked with children for the entire school year wearing only face shields. None of us have contracted the virus. Your employees who want the vaccine have been vaccinated. It is time to allow our children to be children again - to socialize and see faces and expressions and smiles.

Children need to breathe and interact with their peers without masks if they choose. Science shows they aren’t spreading Covid and we need to look and the damages this is doing to their mental health. Make masks optional now!

There is no scientific data to justify mask wearing. Stop depriving our kids of oxygen. We demand Life as usual now. If you’re afraid, hide. But the majority of people know the truth.

We who disagreed with your approach have been patient and kind. It is time for our rights to be recognized.

Enough is enough. My child wants to be unmasked, but is fearful of the administrative and social repercussions. It's affecting his mental health and he should have a choice. This entire thing has gotten so out of control, it's beyond ridiculous and absurd.

We are harming our kids with these worthless masks!
