You did the right thing to make masks optional. Choice is a fundamental right and parents have the ultimate authority for their children. Mask mandates only remove freedom. No mandate allows freedom for everyone.

The science is clear that masks are unhealthy for our children and do NOTHING to stop the spread of Covid-19 which is less dangerous than seasonal flu! Everyone in my family household has had Covid.

my daughter is in elementary school. she has special needs and hiding faces behind masks is adding to her developmemtal delays.
