Doing this to graduates is a cruel tactic. Concerned about rain? Get tents for everyone. The students have certainly paid for that much with their tuition.

Graduation is a time for family and celebration. Having it indoors keeps students not graduating from supporting those who are graduating.

Graduation should absolutely be on the quad. It’s something every graduating senior looks forward to sharing with their friends and family and having only 4 tickets is not enough.

As an alum with a sister who is graduating, 4 tickets each is not enough for each graduate. My graduation (2015) was on the quad, and it was such a memorable experience that would not be the same if it was held in the Sherrill Center

This is ridiculous. Surely UNCA can allot more than four tickets. Graduation is a time of celebration, not distress and anguish trying to basically pick your favorite family members to see you walk. The quad is tradition. Honestly, wait until two weeks before to change locations if you're worried about weather, but four tickets is not enough.

I am so upset right now. My grandparents won't even be able to attend. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have it outside in the rain with more seats than be forced to only have that many people attend. I haven't spent four years and almost $65,000 to not be able to have my loved ones there to help me celebrate. And I can't imagine how upsetting this is for people with bigger families who will have to leave out siblings or parents. UNC Asheville, I'm disappointed. Do better.

I shouldn't have to pick between my significant other or a single grandparent for a seat to see my graduation. After almost five years and thousands of dollars spent at UNCA, I feel that we are all owed more than four tickets.
