Gender neutral housing is an amazing idea and would show that UE is truly as inclusive as it says it is.

This is a really important issue for me & I think it's really important for UE as an inclusive and safe community to include this housing option!

I encourage the availability of safe and accessible bathrooms for all UE students, faculty, and staff.

As a transgender UE alum currently working in higher education, I highly support this proposition. THIS is the right move!

I'm not a UE student, but I am a non-binary identified human and I wish my school had gender neutral housing. We need safe spaces too.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the Unversity of Evansville to honor the virtue of inclusivity and to celebrate diversity.

This would cultivate a more comfortable living experience for many individuals who feel marginalized by the current housing system.

Everyone should have the opportunity to live with someone that they feel comfortable with, regardless of gender.

I think this is vital to our university and our students.

I don't see how anyone could be against this. If you don't want to live in gender-neutral housing, cool! You don't have to. But you shouldn't deny that right to someone who would feel more comfortable and safe with this arrangement.
