Twinfest is an annual music festival which celebrates the twinning of Northampton with Marburg in Germany and Poitiers in France. It's a 4 day multi-venue festival in which Northampton musicians play alongside musicians from Marburg and Germany, and subsequently, Northampton bands have the opportunity to be invited to play at the festivals in France and Germany.

The festival has been running for over 25 years and is a well loved event in the town. We have been told by the council that they've previously received some complaints following Twinfest being held in the garden of The Black Prince, hence why we've not been able to enjoy the outdoor space in the last few years. The council have advised the pub that if there is another complaint, their licence could be taken away.

We'd like to be pro-active in changing their view on this, as we feel this is an amazing space which really makes a difference to the festival.

Please sign the petition in support of getting Twinfest back in The Black Prince garden.

We'd be very grateful if you could leave a comment, sharing your enthusiasm, explaining why the garden means so much to Twinfest, or even sharing your experiences of previous Twinfests in the Black Prince garden! Everything will help!
