This airport is critical to the region. It is not just a New Haven and East Haven shared property. To have nonstop services to Chicago, Washington and Atlanta would bring in many happy passengers who want convenience and possible cheaper airfares. The jobs and the money the airport will bring to the region will be appreciated and recognized. Small amounts of opposers should not stand in the way of this great regional asset!!

The general populace has no clue as to the amount of revenue and jobs an airport brings to the community.

I have flown out of tweed a few times and try to use the airport whenever possible. No unnecessary waiting, friendly staff and extremely convenient for me. I would love to see airlines with more destinations leaving from tweed

Take the handcuffs of Tweed! Longer runway would enable jet service and land future growth. There's no self reliance without it. The future of Tweed and local economy would both benefit tremendously.

Supportive state government, neutral neighborhood politicians, a longer runway, a new passenger terminal, regional jet service by multiple airlines to multiple hubs along with the lifting of burdensome, unfair, uncompetitive and unnecessary airport caps, ceilings and restrictions will help Tweed and the economy of southern Connecticut to really "take off".

The development of Tweed into a contemporary airport is long overdue. Fifty years of the "quality of life" excuse has NOT benefitted Southern Connecticut. An improved Tweed will be self-sufficient though increased use and not be dependent on public subsidy.
