I'm not going to be able to sugar coat this to much. Someone I love suffers from this disorder and to think we don't have the same goals as any other delbilatating illness is ludscris to me. Why because one understands cancer will kill so we have to 100% recovery goals but because we don't have the same level of understanding we decide, "oh well, 33%, 40%

there's no complete remission even without symptoms. it can reappear anytime, I'm living that after 5 serene years.

As lonf as we continue to treat this as "mental" problem. the brain is certainly a major part of one's body -- our physical body not our mental body

The idea of living in remission would be a dream come true. Anything I can do even being a part of studies to lead to remission solutions would be my pleasure and way of giving back to the commiunity.
