Yup. spent a lot of money and used the logitech TV cam 1 time to connect with family over the holiday season, it worked fine. The next time it didn't work at all, and to boot, it's not connected to a TV, just a 23" tabletop monitor.
It would have been cheaper to buy a plane ticket to see my family.

I have spent hours trying to find a fix for my Logitech TV Cam HD (an expensive piece of kit here in NZ), written to Logitech etc etc to no avail.
To my mind Logitech sold me a product that it advertised as being able to use as a stand-alone Skype camera. After 3 years of ownership it no longer fulfils this function & is of no practical use. This would seem to be an abuse of my consumer rights.

I am disgusted by Microsoft/Skype's behaviour which has rendered my expensive Logitech video camera obsolete & makes it impossible for me to have intercontinental video music lessons - my guitar teacher in the USA will lose a student & money because of this.

I have contacted logitech. First they offered me a free 99 pound posh web-cam which i have refused. Then they offered me a 35% discount on any product, which i will refuse. They obviously see they are is the wrong and have missold this product. I paid nearly 200 pounds for this device for my great aunt. A 200 pound paper weight?

Need this service to keep in touch with elderly parents abroad.
The Skype on TV was a god sent gift for them. They are hart broken not being able to see family growing.

This cam was a gift for my parents to connect to my sister whom migrate to another country. I paid a lot of money for this cam and now I had to make some workaround to make my parents logitech tv cam works again. It's really sick that logitech or skype can't help their customers ?!?! No more logitech or skype products. I'm really sorry.

Logitech don,t give a stuff, they will ignore your complaint and reply that they have resolved your issue so that they can pretend that they are not getting complaints. I will not buy any Logitech equipment again, and would advise everyone to avoid them.
