This petition is to save the role of Learning Technology Officer at Arbour Square, currently held by Rashid Iqbal. Since Rashid’s employment at Tower Hamlets College, the teaching staff in particular have benefited from Rashid’s extensive knowledge and skills in the creation of digital teaching and learning resources and the overall support for embedding and developing rich content within Moodle; including on demand training and demonstrations during classroom sessions.

In addition, losing facilities and services such as the borrowing of AV kit, the setting up of PA systems, Off Air recording, photography and audio video evidence to meet the criteria of examination bodies will no doubt be detrimental to the delivery of quality teaching and any future inspection by Ofsted.
