And don't forget many of parents are from other EU countries, they have right to stand out for speak out. So if TES can be supervised by EU educational committees would be better.

Any leadership committee need oversight and/orinput from parents, (payers), otherwise unchecked committee members often end up making their own out of touch decisions, potentially awarding themselves over the top salaries or benefits all by themselves for themselves....As seen in numerous Universities in U.K. lately.

Sadlky, this is exactly our observations recently. Somehow the school is becoming parent community unfriendly. This includes removal of school parent cafe without making provision for the parental and students requirements. Shutting off the parents from school compound is unheard of for a good school. We are glad of the proactive stance of the parent groups and would be happy to contribute support.
Urging for a meeting Swire Group management governing the international school may be warranted given such gross mismanagement.

Please consider what is the best for the school and students in long term and keep BOARD OF GOVERNORS which represent the voice from the parents.

More parents involvement is better for the management of the school an better for the benefit of the students. Also it can prevent autarchy and bereaucracy.

I recommend the TES BOG should be led by educational faculty of each nation but not businessman, and sponsor by the trade office of German , Britsh and French , then the BOD members should be supervised by German, French and British ambassy of Taiwan. School is not for doing business.

As a parent among others my major concern is to get proper education for my children. One of my main issue is that many decision involving TES are made out of the blue without involvement of the Parents. The benefits for the parents and the kids aren't obvious at all. Who is doing what and for whom interests ?

Systems should be designed fairly in order make the most benefits for kids.
