The level of engagement regarding the future of the Rathskeller has exceeded my initial expectations. This collective momentum confirms that for many of us this space remains a vital component of campus life.

TCNJ is a close-knit institution, with a great deal of history that sets it apart from any other college or university. Removing this place that holds so many memories, has been a second home to many students, and has been a haven of creativity and self-expression will alter some of the finer points of TCNJ's campus.
The Rathskeller has been an important part of TSC and TCNJ students for close to 40 years. To let that piece of our history close would be a shame.

The Rat is literally the only place to hang out on campus on a Thursday night. TCNJ just keeps killing everything fun about this school.
