Thank you for taking such great care of our dog! We couldn't imagine (or afford the drive) to take him anywhere else and manage our work from home reality. He NEEDS this escape and playtime as I am sure many other SF city dogs do!

Would like very much to see this business survive to serve another decade or three...!

The Grateful Dog is kind and cares for the good of not only the people but the pets living in SF. "Dog daycare businesses are part of the supply chain of support and supplies for all of San Francisco. It is a visible slice of the economic pie that serves all working people and those in need of daycare, training and providing socialization. In our city of over 170,000 known dogs (that's not including other pets) The Grateful Dog is an essential service not just in this pandemic but in general. The Grateful Dog is a woman- and minority-owned business. Especially now, any marginalization for our diverse city is unacceptable. People of affluence using their influence and privilege to force The Grateful Dog out of business is unacceptable. We urge Planning Commissioners to see the value of The Grateful Dog and that the complaints against them are unacceptable unreasonable. Other code requirements need to be reviewed for this and other dog daycare businesses in order to preserve sustainability and economic stability. This just one location. Please do not require this Conditional Use permit on The Grateful Dog or any other codes already cited and complied with. They have been through enough already. Thank you."

This is an essential service supporting our essential workers and first responders! Now, during this global pandemic, is when our true character as a our city will come to light. Please keep this small business alive in its current location! Do not revoke its license. Thank you!

I recently moved but I lived a block and a half from this business for 8 years and never heard of, a problem. It’s a well established responsible company and new neighbors who opted to move close by do not have the right to complain.

G. D. serves the community and must be allowed to continue. Caring for our pets is an essential need. They have been in this location for a long time and should stay. It’s like when people buy a house next to a pig farm and are surprised to smell pigs.

Grateful Dog is a wonderul asset to our community. They provide professional, caring dog care. We need more responsible businesses like Grateful Dog and should support their continued operation.

This type of business is needed by pet owners. The annual added requirements for business permits in SF are very costly and cumbersome. Please don't allow frivolous complaints from greedy, selfish people impact this well run, established business. Thank you.

Now is not the time to shut down family owned businesses that support our essential workers. It’s awful they have to go through this now with all other challenges everyone is facing.

This is an essential business providing important employment and services. The entitled and narcissistic few should not be able to shut down this wonderful Company.

Hello I strongly oppose the efforts to remove/shut down The Grateful Dog Rescue Daycare. The service these dedicated people provide for the community FAR outweighs the actual issues raised by neighbors who have the money to pay for this injustice.
