Petition supporting the CUSD Superintendent Search

On behalf of my family, and all of the families of the Carmel Unified School District, I urge the school board, to do what is best, for the students, the families, and the district, and begin a national search, as soon as possible.

Let's do this! Our teachers and families deserve somebody fabulous.

It is imperative that we find the best superintendent for our school district.

The search seems to be the baseline for this process. I can't understand why this is not a absolute for a position of this importance.

This is critical for a school of this caliber!

i support the process of hiring a visionary and highly qualified candidate to fill this very important position for our school district immediately.

What other process could there be? This seems like a no-brainer.

We’re role modeling for our own children and all the students of our school district, Carmel Unified, one of the finest districts in the state. As engaged parents, we actively support our CUSD Board and administration in developing and executing the model processes, in particular this executive search.

Let's have pride in our process. CUSD does it right.

CUSD must use an open, full process - and should learn from their implementation of the last search in order to do better this time. Thank you.

Unfortunate that we have to go through this again, but absolutely necessary.

Obviously we need an amazing person to lead our wonderful school district. The last two were nowhere near the quality we should be looking for.

Having seen my own organization struggle through leadership vacuums in one of the top two slots for most of the last 4 years, I can attest to the importance of getting quality, permanent leaders on board. I commend the sentiments expressed in this petition.

Please conduct a thorough national search to secure the best candidate for superintendent. The position is too important to skip steps in the process.

The more input the better! Let's get everyone involved.

I highly recommend conducting an open, professional search for a qualified candidate for the role of CUSD Superintendant. We support this effort and gladly assist in any way that ensures child-centric education and community-focused leadership.
