Barrington High School has brought attention to its students that battle with mental illness by making a day of special olympics. When teams make accomplishments usually a assembly or side winder occurs. But when the special olympics team made an achievment they announced a day devoted to them. The school may think that this makes them look admirable, but there bringing attention to how these students need to be looked upon differently and delicately. Signing this petition will lead justice to unfair treatment to students in your community. These students can not control their mental illness, but your signature can control the stigma of it.
