The residents have paid over £500,000 in fines.

After living in the area for more than 15 years I did not noticed those little signes until I've revived two penalties!!!! That made our Christmas present less for some members of my family

I was fined. I appealed. It wasn't successful. So disgusted!!
Others were warned and i got a straight fine.

Totally agree that arbitrary penalties are a nonsense. Especially where the level of fines demonstrate that the signage is not clear enough.

It's a disgrace that they want to restrict access to this road as it has a school on it!! If it were a state school this would never have happened. The increase of traffic on the other roads is terrible. Fines instead of warnings is proof it's for revenue....this piece of traffic planning is wrong at every level.

Poor decision to stop cars using this road, traffics on Maple road outside Surbiton High School is ridiculous!

I've recently had a ticket because of this. A route I've used for years and have been through a least once since the restrictions. Waiting to see if I get more tickets that are paid straight away by my car finance company and I am billed for after, so have been unable to dispute. Very unhappy about the unfair situation.

That's all wrong on all levels our councils need a reality check when they think up these bloody stupid Road plans they have tried alsorts in York money making schemes they all backfired in their faces where they ended up paying back to motorists the money they robbed as it wasn't legal what they did ..so hopefully for all you lot in Kingston the same thing will happen the council will end up of with egg on their faces..

I was recently fined £135 for making an innocent mistake at 7:50 in the evening. I could hardly see the signs saying it was only a bus road. Please can I have a warning. I can't afford this huge fine for an innocent mistake.
