They're paid based on the revenue they bring in. Fishermen also work hard, but they don't earn a fraction of what a Hollywood actor earns. Learn to logic. It's basic economics. The women brought in about 17 million dollars during their recent World Cup - the men brought in more than 500 million dollars the year before.

They're also not playing in the same league against the same competition, genius. The USWNT lost 8-2 to the US U17 boys team, for God's sake. If they can't even beat a bunch of kids, they certainly wouldn't stand a chance against the men's national team.
