Subject: Petition for the Partition and Proclamation of the Sovereign State of South Lebanon

We, the undersigned nation of South Lebanon, respectfully submit this petition to the Lebanese caregiver government to recognize the declaration of independence of the Sovereign state of South Lebanon. This request stems from a deep-seated desire for self-determination and the ability to govern ourselves in accordance with our unique identity, aspirations, and needs.

The boundaries of this declared South Lebanon shall consist of the current South Governorate and Nabatieh Governorate.


Grievances:

Hezbollah Terrorist Occupation: The presence of Hezbollah and its terrorist operations in South Lebanon against the Lebanese people has created a humanitarian crisis, insecurity, instability and intimidation. The citizens feel that their autonomy is undermined by the influence of a terrorist organization that prioritizes its own agenda and the agenda of foreign nations over the needs and rights of the native Lebanese both residents and diaspora.

Marginalization and Intimidation: The people of South Lebanon have faced systematic marginalization in political representation and decision-making processes, leading to a lack of consideration for our specific needs and concerns.

Economic Neglect: South Lebanon suffers from extreme economic underdevelopment. Investment in infrastructure, education, and healthcare is nonexistent, hindering our ability to thrive and prosper.

Social Services: Inadequate access to essential social services has left the citizens of South Lebanon struggling. Our independence would enable us to tailor services to our specific needs, improving the quality of life for all residents.

Reasons for Independence:

Self-Determination: The Lebanese Republic has failed the people of South Lebanon. Independence would empower us to govern ourselves and make decisions that reflect our values and priorities.

Military Stability: Lebanon's army has failed to secure South Lebanon and has allowed Hezbollah's terrorist organization to illegally occupy the territory. The Sovereign State of South Lebanon will enable the establishment of a legitimate military to properly secure and protect our borders and land.

Economic Growth: With independence, South Lebanon will have the opportunity to create policies that promote economic development tailored to our resources and strengths, attracting investment and fostering local entrepreneurship.

Improved Governance: Local governance of South Lebanon would facilitate more accountable and transparent decision-making processes, ensuring that our needs are prioritized and addressed.

Conclusion:

We believe that a proclamation of independence for the Sovereign State South Lebanon is not just a political necessity but a moral imperative. We call upon the Lebanese caregiver government to immediately recognize South Lebanon as a free, independent, sovereign nation and to call on Hezbollah to withdraw from South Lebanon to avoid military conflict. We hope and pray that Lebanon will engage in peaceful dialogue with the people of South Lebanon, recognizing our grievances and aspirations. If the Lebanese caregiver government refuses and/or is unable to enforce the withdrawal of Hezbollah from the South of Lebanon the people will take matters in their own hands. The people are no longer accepting the current situation nor will they accept a future of continued instability and destruction.

We, the undersigned citizens of South Lebanon, urge the Lebanese Caregiver government to accept this petition and recognize us as we strive for a future where the people of South Lebanon can thrive in a self-governed, independent state.
