Hopefully the new Board will continue to negotiate this issue,and the coop will revisit this with a Special Election. We really would of benefit from this one time deal and sale,or maybe the Board could form a Special Shareholders committee on this Air Right Issues that could also help others understand this matter and what it means to our coop as well. GOOD LUCK ALL..

Why not get our lobbies to look like a
Modern luxury building?
Why not pay down our mortgage?
If not maintenace will go up up up
Then the garage and more

I was shocked and angered when I saw the actual numbers in this referendom: almost 200 more people said YES yet this CLEAR MAJORITY lost? That’s just plain wrong.

Although the by laws are clear, I accept that there was a high bar; I would like another opportunity to address this now that we know the Board is taking our another mortgage. Our costs are about to go up and if we can prevent that, let's try.

I wholeheartedly support selling Seward air rights that were recently agreed to by a majority of shareholders. Those in opposition did not provide material reasons to vote no. The fact is that buildings will be built and construction congestion in the neighborhood will occur regardless of the no vote. And, soon there will be buildings three blocks away that will be taller and bigger for which we have no control. In the meantime, we are throwing away the opportunity to stabilize Seward finances by reducing debt and providing maintenance relief. Likewise, with a no vote we are throwing away the opportunity to positively improve the physical facilities and structures in a positive and beautiful way.

I am very concerned that there will be maintenance increases, which will he difficult for us.

The no vote is disingenuous---talking out of both sides of their mouths. "I don't want to block my view'---but, I don't want to pay more maintenance." I'm just an obstructionist with no ideas!

I don't think this will do anything being that we voted on the bylaws agreeing to 2/3 rule but willing to try. Best of luck to us all.
