Scottie Tanksley Memorial Park. I believe this would be a fitting name to honor one of the greatest athletes our city has ever known. Scott was an overall asset to the school and community. He embodied sportsmanship, scholarship and commitment to the game. A fierce competitor, but the comsumate role model. What he did for our little community and how he gave his life protecting others is well deserving of such an honor.
